Put Eric Quach (Destroyalldreamers, thisquietarmy), Ryan Ferguson (Sianspheric, Electroluminescent) & Pascal Asselin (Below The Sea, Millimetrik) in a room, and you know something good is going to happen.
The Parallel Lines project was born out of the idea of improvisation. Their previous releases were recorded live, with no prepared setlists or planned out melodies, rather a post rock version of jamming. This album is no different: Recorded in two sessions, and then masetered by Eric Quach, the result is an extremely moody drone album, that can be seen as a soundtrack for our industrial times, as well as a tribute to their natural musical talent. The tracks combine to form walls of dark and intense music, mostly with indefinable peaks. Like a monotonous but enticing daydream, waves drag the listener into the depths. Each musician is talented in their own way, as a group, they form a powerful trio that spins their voodoo magic in a subtle and beautiful fashion.
